As everyone knows, Peru is a country with a lot of diversity. And not only because of the beautiful landscapes, interesting traditions or delicious food, our country is essentially multiethnic, but with one of the most contagious and deadly social diseases. Which is known as discrimination. Although our country has a diverse population, it seems that most Peruvians ignore it, since we can see, for example, powerful people such as presidents, ministers, famous people, etc., who tend to make many derogatory and disrespectful comments to people who according to them find inferior for various causes such as skin colour, beliefs, behaviour, etc. However, it is important to mention that not only the people with more resources in our country discriminate. But, worst of all, we do nothing to change our real situation, and people who practice this poisonous activity are not aware of the damage they do to society. As if this were not enough, millions of people are excluded every day from extreme

discrimination for supporting social movements

Nowadays, freedom of expression is one of the most precious rights, it not only helps us to give our point of view but also to point out the social problems that we have in the country. Social movements are that push and support that are needed to support our causes and express our ideas. However, in Peru when the masses want to raise their voices, many want to silence them. A clear example of this discrimination is that suffered by the feminist movement. Feminism consists of an active struggle for the vindication of women and the obtaining of equal opportunities and benefits with men and the elimination of discrimination and mistreatment towards women by the patriarchal systems that exist in many nations of the world. However, in society this movement is viewed with contempt as they ignore its goal and think that their ideology is based on hatred of man. ETHNIC-RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

Imagen
First of all; what is ethnic-racial discrimination? To understand it perfectly, we must know what discrimination is "all differentiated, excluding or restrictive treatment based on the ethnic-cultural origin and the physical characteristics of the person". It is a serious social problem in Peru because it deepens poverty and social exclusion and it does not allow the construction of a culture of peace and equality. Promoting the exclusion and violation of people's rights. This mainly affects people who belong to indigenous peoples, the Afro-descendant population, and people of Andean or Amazonian origin. More than half of Peruvians have felt discriminated against. A survey carried out by the Ministry of Culture informs us that 59% of Peruvians perceive that the Quechua and Aymara population is discriminated against because of their way of speaking, their clothing and the language they speak, 60% of Peruvians confirm that the Afro-Peruvian population is discriminated aga

DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION

Imagen
In this post we are going to take a look at a very vulnerable part of our country, people with disabilities. This group of people suffer day by day the ignorance and the indifference of those who discriminate against them because of their condition. This has prevented them from enjoying their rights in the labor, social, health and education areas. It is already difficult for the majority of the peruvian population to find a job. When you m qualify for work and you have a disability, the chances are much lower to be able to pass. And if you get the job, the economic remuneration is lower than it should be, which is really an injustice. The fact that in our country it is a "delay" to hire people with disabilities, regardless of any limitations they may suffer, not only demonstrates a lack of empathy but also affects our national economy. Currently the discrimination in the educational field it is really worrying, on several occasions there have been cases that are reported, su
